Margaret Murphy Schneider has had a life long love of color and design.  A graduate of the University of Missouri and Fontbonne University, she has continued to explore the possibilities and push the limits of her artistic spirit through travel and studies with nationally known instructors. Residing in Colorado and Georgia, as well as Missouri, provided additional opportunities for unique experiences that have influenced her work. 

Although watercolor is her medium of choice, the artist enjoys working in all media. Over the years, her paintings have evolved from softly evocative landscapes and flowers to a more dynamic and exciting interpretation of figures and other natural forms. Recent paintings demonstrate a freshness of line, color and pattern that enhance the spontaneous nature of the work.  Award winning paintings by the artist are included in many public and private collections.
